Sopan Tsekov from Sofia, Bulgaria has run 16 multi-day races for 15 years of running ultra-long distances.

He has completed 2 times the longest ultra-marathon in the world – the Self-Transcendence 3100 Mile Race. Sopan remains the youngest in the world to complete the distance. In 2005 at the age of 24 he run 3100 miles for 51 days, 16 hours. His personal best is 50 days, 13 hours.

Sopan holds all Bulgarian national records for running distances from 400 miles to 3100 miles and 5000 km.

Besides running Sopan practices meditation under the guidance of his teacher Sri Chinmoy.

Youngest in the world to attempt and complete the distance at the age of 24.
